We are all living with the regrets of what could have beens' and the chances that slipped right through pur fingertips. On lonely nights, when sleep seems like a distant stranger, we wonder about our shortcomings, mistakes, fights and lies. We deteriorate our brains by blaming ourselves for not being enough to keep the one person we loved so much.
Amidst the self loathing, we don't get the time to truly contemplate as to why it never worked out with anyone else. It is a very cliche thing to say, but there is someone for everyone out there. You are yet to meet them.
And when you do, everything will fall into perspective. All the tears and hurt will seem worth it. That someone will walk into your life and make you realise that if things hadn't happened the way they happened in the past, then you wouldn't have ever met them.
The events of our lives are like dominoes. With a little push at the start, everything starts falling one by one. One decision leads to another and that one brings some other consequence and this cycle keeps on going, until the day you finally reach the last piece of the domino. Before that
fateful moment, you just kept flowing along with the waters of life wondering where it was taking you. You made pointless decisions and lost invaluable bonds. But every single of that, brought you to that very exact moment when you met the love of your life.
It does seem too bookish to be true. But you wont know unless it happens to you. There is always a reason for the things that happen to you. It is the universe conspiring. All you can do is be patient and wait for when it happens because when it does, your faith in love will be restored.
