You, my friend, worry a lot. You're stressed most of the time. You keep going back to moments and questioning them, if things will be alright.
That day you spoke to your crush and now, you think you messed it up, you could've cracked a better joke, you could have asked them out, but you didn't and now you just don't know if it'll be okay to make a call.
You're confused.
You have an average percentage. You don't know if you'll make it to the college your parents want you to. You do want to go to that college, but you can also settle with the others. You keep checking the website for the next selection round, while your name was not on the first one. You're tensed.
You had a breakup this year, and all you think about love is that it causes pain. You've promised to not fall in love, to take decisions with your mind, not with your heart. You've sworn to God about this. Love isn't a word in your life. You're allergic.
You see your friends specialising in a particular field and you want to take them as inspiration. But you are worried, as you have nothing to work on.
You hate yourself for that? Gross.
You're worried.
That best friend you had a misunderstanding with, they're online. You don't know if you should text first. You think, if you do, that'll make their ego win. And you don't know what to do. Meanwhile, you check their chat again. They're offline. You missed a chance.
You're regretful.
Relax, my friend. It's life. Its too short to be all that you're feeling.
Don't think of the ifs and buts, because while you're confused, tensed, allergic or regretful, that moment will pass on and you might be missing a chance forever.
Just trust the process. It's okay if you don't find 'the thing' which you've been searching for so long. Keep searching and keep exploring. You may find some 'other thing' which you might have expected. So just trust in yourself.
Don't think about anything, just do it, if that's what you want. Nobody will judge, nothing will go wrong and even at the worst, you'll be okay, without regrets. Its life, it'll be over before you know it.
Relax.
