Right from our school life, we know about love, and as great as they show in movies and dramas, you start believing that love is right there in your classroom, in your apartment, or just around you. Growing up you realise, it isn't that easy to find love.
You like someone, they don't like you back. You fall for your bestfriend and either fear to confess. You love someone who is already seeing someone else, or sometimes, the worse, you get into a relationship and
find out that your partner is cheating on you, isn't interested in you, the spark goes missing and what not. Yes, love was never simple as your kid self thought. It was always complicated.
And even though you find it, it's a task to be a keeper. We look at love with so much perfection that it's engraved in our minds, that love is meant to be great. It's like, there won't be bad days, and everyday will be butterflies and roses. And that's how love becomes so dificult to keep. One thing goes wrong, and the entire relationship crumbles. Eventually, it breaks.
You meet so many people in your life, but if you look at someone's eyes and they stare back at you with the same intensity, if you hold their hands, and they interlace their fingers into yours perfectly, if they don't mind sharing their hoodie with you, even though they know you won't return it back, keep them. Hold on to that kind of love, which seems surreal. Because, Iove, is rare to find and it might change your life forever
