We've grown up watching our parents work hard to make our lives comfortable. They juggle between missing deadlines and making time to be with their family. Looking them do that day and night, every single day made us believe that their lives revolve around us. Raising us, maintaining this family seems like their only aim in life. Whatever they do, they do for us.
In our young eyes, parents are these superior people who have everything figured out. They know the solution to everything effortlessly. They never shared their problems with us, so we see them as these adults who have no dificulties. Everything comes smoothly to them and they would go to lengths to make it the same for us.
But they're not this God-like creatures that we think of them to be. They're humans too. Just like the rest of us. They get exhausted too. They have problems as well. They're sometimes just as clueless as the rest of us. Just because they have kids and a family to look after, it
doesn't make them infallible.
We've put our parents on a pedestal. We've idolized them to the point where their human qualities are seen as faults. People don't turn into some super human the moment they start a family. When we are kids, we aren't mature enough to understand what our parents go through. Hence, they don't tell us. It stays that way and we never truly know. We only know them as these ideal people we've seen since our childhood. We don't realize our parents are just human like us until very later in life.
Love and believe in your parents no matter what. Don't judge them.
Peace
