'They say time heals all wounds. Broken hearts aren't that simple.'
If you ever cut yourself accidentally, it only takes a couple of days to heal. But what about a broken heart? It's not as if something is actually broken and needs fixing. You can't apply any medication or bandages to heal it. No doctor can give you an estimated time as to when the wounds of a broken heart will heal, because there is no fixed time.
There isn't a fixed procedure to follow when your heart gets broken to put it back together perfectly as before. p
People will tell you a lot of ways to get over it but in the end, it's all up to you. If you choose to more on and how to do so, no one can help you in it. It's completely uncharted land for you and you gotta find your way out without any maps.
They will tell you, you will move on as time passes. But do you? How mych time has to pass before u do? A few weeks, months or years? There are people who carry the scars of their broken heart even decades later. So does time really heal all wounds?
Mayb it does for some people. Maybe as the time passes, all the feeling they once had gets pushed towards the side when their priorities change. The pain of the heartbreak is suppressed to the point when you don't feel it anymore. Mayb tats what they mean by healing of a broken heart. I don't think there's a way to make your heart as it was before it got broken, but time does play a small role in helping you forget it. Time may not heal a broken heart but it surely diminishes the pain.
